Jon Nydell
PRODUCT & TECHNOLOGY
Jonathan is the CEO and CTO at PHION Technologies leading technology development, product design, and overall company strategy. Formerly a principal systems architect at SpaceX, Jonathan led electromagnetic compatibility, safety, and supported electrical design for the Crew Dragon Spacecraft and Starlink satellites. He received his master’s degree, graduating with highest honors, in High Energy Physics from University College of London (UCL). Prior to UCL, Jonathan received his BS in Engineering Physics (Solid State Electronics) from Lehigh University.
Matt Nydell

Over his career, Matt has held multiple CXO roles, including Chief Legal Officer, Chief Development Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. He held various legal and executive roles at MCI Communications, VIA NET.WORKS, Volex, and Market Force Information before co-founding PHION Technologies with Jonathan. Matt has served as Company Secretary to venture and private equity-backed private company and NASDAQ, LSE and Euronext-listed companies. He received a BA in Philosophy from Bucknell University and a JD/MA from the University of Virginia.
